Tariqshah Syed, MD, is an interventional cardiologist with special interest in preventive cardiology, hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, coronary artery disease, cardiac catheterization and stenting, atrial fibrillation, and heart failure. Dr. Syed is board-certified in interventional cardiology, cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and internal medicine.
Dr. Syed earned his medical doctorate degree from the Khyber Medical College, Peshawar, Pakistan where he graduated summa cum laude. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Saint Luke's Roosevelt Hospital Center.
